Terroir the as most of you may know is simply the sum of all the external factors affecting the growth of the grapevine and ultimately expressing themselves in Wine.
Terroir itself as a concept is a compound concept which comprises of Sunlight, Soil, Wind, Earth, Temperature, Humidity and Horticulture.
The Wine Terroirs are spread across the globe with regions ranging from coasts to mountains and plateaus to valleys over all continents.
In this series we try to understand these concepts of terroir from the perspective Of Human Culture and its Reflections on Viticulture and its pronounced expression on Vines and Wines !
